I found this illustration for Wintersmith that was in the Prog Rock Magazine.

Presumably that is the Summer Lady dancing with the Wintersmith - not Tiffany. :)

I would say so Tony as the grass is green and the Daffs have bloomed in her sphere, where all else is a winter scene. :mrgreen:

There's a new double CD version of the Steeleye Span "Wintersmith" coming out soon.

Steeleye Span wrote:We will re-releasing Wintersmith as a Deluxe 2 CD package complete with 4 brand new songs, 8 live tracks and 2 demos! Out 27th October
We will also be releasing a Wintersmith Tour DVD - out 10th November
:D

I still want to get it. I love that album so much. And I definitely will be getting the DVD. :)

Actually, I may just see if I can download the extra tracks from Amazon when the CD comes out.

That would make more sense and I think the DVD would be a good buy.

I will probably do the same for the extra songs and live tracks. The DVD looks good though. :D

I may go for the DVD but the new CD for 4 more songs is pushing it a bit.
One of those? Oh I'm sure I have one somewhere..

I suspect the live tracks will be a bit different from the studio ones though. I personally prefer 'live' music to studio versions although being forced to listen to Jordan (Katie Price) sing live almost cured me of that! :lol:

She wasn't, I'm glad to say. I think it was one of those programs showing how good a digital studio can make even the worst singer sound ok. Her studio version was just about bearable but I still shudder at the 'live' version. Just so you can properly compare, here they are;

With Auto Tune (studio)

Live Version without 'Auto tune'

I wouldn't blame Tony for banning me for posting them but the 'Live' version is truly frightening. :lol:
