I never buy books to sell them and this was a bargain at £16.99 and I love having a copy of a book signed by JK rowling that I didn't give blood to get. On the other hand they are now trading at close to the £1000 mark on various dealer sites with a copy even being offered at £1650 on ABE. Am I mad not to cash in now or should I hold on to it. I'm kicking myself I didn't get another copy or two while I had the chance.
Sell it now. The market is artificially high. Once everyone who has one of these discovers how much others are selling for they'll all try selling them, plus tons of counterfeit signed version will flood the market, lowering the overall resale value.
Very true . I have a receipt for the book and from the shop in question its pretty good proof of authenticity based on their reputation.
I've never sold on ebay but might look into it or ABE
