Makes it seem a bit like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in the way it seems like it will characters from fiction together. :shifty:

Looks good, but a bit too Discworldy for a non-Discworld book...

Dave if it going to be loosely related to the next Discworld book or is it the one after ? maybe that is why the cover looks like that. :?:

It was going by a different title for a while (which I've forgotten ).

And to be the board's spoilsport and moodkiller again:
I don't like it.
Too static. And rather boring.
I expected something ... a bit more exciting, seeing how much research Mr Kidby apparently did before.

But its the artful dodger with a blade with shadowy figures in front of St Pauls. Oh yeah , and a dog. Its an interesting cover and a good stab at a victorian street.
Not Kidby's best cover but I likes it
:D

I might be a bit biased by other really neat covers. This is 'main character striking a pose on a background that gives you an idea where the story is set but where e might actually never go'. Pity

well, though, as one always should try to say something positive... it IS a typical Kidby-Cover for Sir Terry's works

Covers of books are rather proverbially irrelevant, are they not?

Anyway, can't wait for this! Spotted it on Facebook earlier today. Like Antiq, I hadn't heard anything about this, but then I don't actually make any effort to keep up to date with news of future releases - I sorta like it when a new one just appears on the shelves out of the blue. That's what happened with Thud - one day it was just there, ready to be bought and read. A new Pratchett book is pretty high on my list delightful surprises :D
